Travel - Hong Kong

Many people may prefer Taiwan to Hong Kong, but I prefer HK more to Taiwan. Perhaps I shared the same dialect with people over there...(Well, I still not yet visit Taiwan over there and I would like to in the very near future.)

How I wish I spent more time in Hong Kong. Somehow 4 days is not enough, perhaps one week is better. It's a much much cooling place afterall in this current seasonal period. Once I was back home in Singapore on Sunday night, I felt the heat was back again ! Meanwhile, the air in HK did not seem to be soo well, as you can see in the following picture. It's a kind of pity that I failed to take any nightview of Hong Kong at the peak due to the very hazy condition.

We did alot of shopping in Hongkong. From Mongkok to Causeway Bay, from Causeway Bay to Citygate Outlets at Lantau Island... Well, besides those clothes and accessories and food, I managed to buy few vintage double decker bus models for my personal collection. These classic double deckers sparkled some childhood memories of taking those vintage double decker non-aircon public transports traveling around Singapore. Such things were hard (or I should say never) to be found in Singapore, guess I shall get few more different other models when I went there again.
Meanwhile, the hotel service was really CMI (Cannot make it). I won't comment it much though... the room was really really small and I guessed for a price of 125SGD, I don't think it was that worth the price. However, the location was really good...along the stretch of Nathan Road, while me and Perry's been out for supper, eating junk food like McDonald's . Another thing is...McDonald's were much cheaper than here, though the local delicacies were slightly ex.

See.. the gap between both beds are that "WIDE".

Fancy taking a group picture inside this small and cosy hotel room.

Finally, we never did much places-of-interest visiting in Hong Kong... much shopping though. No Disneyland...No Ocean Park. However, at least we managed to visit Madam Tussad Wax Museum at the Peak. It may cost 150HKD but at least it's worth the price... taking alot of pictures with many "public figures" along the way.

Well, I shall revisit Hong Kong again in the very near future one day. Somehow, I really love travelling as I grow older. Now it's back to job-hunting while I pursue my advancement to happiness and victories.
